Hi ‘yall!

Yesterday I took home my awesome school project, a hand-made, recycled guitar out of a cereal box, paper towel roll, paper clip box, ear cleaners, tape, rubber bands, and of course, paint and marker. Here is a picture of it and steps on how to make one of your own.

Steps:

1. First get the materials needed. (a cereal box, paper towel roll, paper clip box, ear cleaners, tape, rubber bands, paint brush, a can, scissors, pen/marker and of course, paint and marker; just like above.)

2. Grab the can and place it on the guitar. Draw a circle and use the can as a stencil.

3. Cut the circle inside. (To cut it you can stick your scissors in the center and cut from there.)

4. Paint your box, paper towel roll, paper clip box, rubber bands, and ear wax cleaners in any style you wish to.

5. When everything dries up, grab your paper towel roll and tape it onto the paper clip box at the end.

6. Then, grab your ear wax cleaners and tape then onto the paper clip box just like my guitar.

7. Place the rubber bands on the box. Make sure the rubber bands are stretchy enough so they don’t break in your hands. (Ouch!)

8. Tape the box to the paper towel roll, and then there you have it, a hand-made recylcled guitar that with all the materials, costs nothing more than $10.00!!!

Here is how you can play Mary had a Little Lamb on the guitar by playing these certain strings. I’m going to put numbers, which String 1 means first string, String 2 means second string, and String 3 means third string.
